the one year mark

It's hard to believe in some ways but today was our 1st wedding anniversary! It also happened to be Claude's last day of vacation, a restful Sunday, and a BEAUTIFUL day here so we're thankful that all those things coincided on the 27th of September:) I'm a little late in blogging a couple of events and will get to those soon but today we just wanted to say "thanks" to all of our friends/family for their sweet anniversary wishes and to say that we are truly thankful for how God has provided for us in our first year of marriage.

One year ago today

Our trip to the beach this past week served as our anniversary gift of sorts, but I also wrapped up a little something so that we could have something to go along more on the themes of paper for the 1st year...

cards of course and a cute stamp with our new address (which is still "wrapped" in the picture above). We look forward to stamping many letters home with it:)
