well my bags (aren't) packed

...and i'm blogging. what is wrong with me? the sun has long since set and the usual sense of lethargy that comes with it being dark outside after a long day at work has set in:( nonetheless it's been - and will continue to be - a fun couple of days. david and emily stopped in to eat / spend the night at our house last night en route to see friends in nc. why did i not take any pictures? maybe next time...although it was a quick stop we were so glad to see them and had lots of fun being together with a couple of round of spades thrown into the visit. as to the title of this post - i leave tomorrow to go back to ms for what is sure to be a very classy and sweet wedding. my cousin ashley is really and truly one of the dearest and sweetest and most thoughtful people you'll ever meet and i can't wait to get to see her in the next few days! throw in that i get to see other family/friends and have a long weekend break from work and a possible quick stop at the summit on the way through birmingham and it's almost enough to get me packing right now! the only downside is that claude won't be able to go this time but it seems that's unfortunately sometimes the life of a resident:( well i guess i've procrastinated long enough. see some of you soon!!!
